Abstract
It is difficult to conduct online physical education classes normally due to a lack of existing online learning contents along with various constraints in the pandemic situation. Therefore, this study aims to provide basic data for improving the quality of mixed classes in physical education. The subjects of this study were middle school students who were taking mixed classes in the physical education subject. A total of 254 copies was selected as final valid and retrieved by visiting two middle schools in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. The questionnaire was composed of a total of 64 questions. SPSS 21.0 was used to conduct exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, first, in the effect of interpersonal relationships on physical self-efficacy, it was found that the factors of displeasure and support had an effect on self-expression efficacy, and the factors of displeasure, support, and interpersonal conflict had an effect on physical ability efficacy. Second, in the effect of interpersonal relationship on self-esteem, the factors of early relationship and self-exposure affects positive self-esteem, and the factor of self-exposure affects negative self-esteem. As we enter the post-corona era, the form of mixed classes continues. This can be academically and empirically significant in that the factors that can influence students are decreasing as the form of class changes. Therefore, based on the results of this study, it would be considered as a stepping stone to take a leap forward with the qualitative development of mixed classes.
