- Abstract
- 이론은 실제 상황 속에서 적용ㆍ검증되면서 성장 진화한다. 역으로 실제는 이론적 기제에 의해서 당면 문제점이 진단ㆍ해결되면서 개선 발전된다. 한편, 제반 학문의 이론발달은 시대정신과 현장요구를 반영하면서 학문공동체 내 개별 학자의 진리탐구 활동과 과학철학 논쟁 기반의 학술담론 교류를 통해서 체계적으로 이루어진다. 교육행정학도 예외가 아니다. 본 논문은 서구 교육행정학 이론발달의 과학철학 쟁점과 관련 논점을 체계적으로 탐구하는 데 초점을 둔다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서 이론의 정의와 열린 이론관을 개괄하고, 이론구축 과정의 과학철학 토대(존재론, 인식론)의 상호관계성과 관련 쟁점(과학철학에 대한 오류적 사고, 과학적 실재론 vs 비판적 실재론)을 포괄적으로 검토한다.
