| dc.description.abstract | This study argues that while the use of PEDs in sports is a matter of ethical concern, the use of PEDs is an understanding of the application of value standards to establish the legitimacy of cheating. Kant argues that if a person behaves according to an individual's subjective desire, he is not rational, and even if the act yields good results, it has no moral value. Therefore, the athlete must be aware of the fact that it is obligatory to fulfill the obligation according to good faith, which is the basis of morality, that is, to do so. Kant also called others to treat them for purposes, not as means. Regardless of the purpose of any individual, is to treat it as a complete being, in other words, a person with a personality. It is therefore morally unacceptable for a player to use PEDs for the purpose of depriving the other's happiness. The athlete's victory through the use of PEDs will continue to be stealthy, and the development of science, medicine, and medical techniques that support it may further develop PEDs. In this difficult situation, questions are raised as to whether there should be more appropriate ethical standards and foundations for the future use of PEDs. We should also look for ethical practices for the use of PEDs. This is an important specific task. | - |
