| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 메타버스 기술과 관련한 기업의 정보 공개가 시장에서 전략적 신호로 기능하는 과정을 실증적으로 규명하고자하였으며, 이를 위해 불확실성이 높은 기술 개발․도입 상황에서 신호 유형, 기업 규모, 공개 시점이 투자자 기대와 시장반응에 미치는 영향을 사건연구방법론(event study)으로 분석하였다. 2020년 7월부터 2022년 12월까지 KOSPI 및 KOSDAQ 상장기업의 메타버스 관련 정보 공개 477건을 수집하여 초과수익률을 측정한 결과, 소규모 기업의 선행 공개는 강한 기대 신호로 작용했으며, 대규모 기업은 ‘신호적 정보(Signal)’를조기에 발신한 경우에 한해 긍정적 반응을 보였다. 이는 정보 실행 여부보다 발신 주체, 시점, 방식이 시장 반응을 좌우함을 보여주며, 신호이론의 전통적인 비용 중심 해석을 보완하는 실증 결과로 해석된다. 본 연구는 메타버스 정보공개 사례를 중심으로, 기업의 대외 커뮤니케이션이 시장과의 전략적 신호로 작용할 수 있음을 실증적으로 입증하였으며, 향후 유사한 기술 환경에서도 적용 가능한 분석 틀로서 신호이론의 확장 가능성을 제시한다. | - |
