- 본 특허에서는 생성되는 구역의 수를 줄일 수 있는 향상된 구역 분할 알고리즘을 제안한다. 지도상에 다각형으로 구성된 장애물들이 존재하고 자율 이동 로봇의 경로를 계획하기 위하여 형태장애물을 생성한 후 구역 분할 알고리즘을 적용할 시 형태장애물의 꼭지점에 대하여 수직 또는 수평의 하나의 방향으로만 선을 그어서 구역을 나누는 것이 아닌 다양한 각도로 선을 그어서 기존의 구역 분할 방식보다 구역이 생성되는 개수를 줄이는 것이다
