Abstract
This research is conducted to review and analyze the domestic and foreign facility management (FM) standards in relation to the national FM standard establishment. In order to procure a precise objective and predictable effect of the FM standard, past studies, relevant papers as well as international cases of practical applications are assessed. To determine whether the certification based on these standards lead to a positive entrepreneurial performance, industrial standardization survey cost and effectiveness are analyzed to verify the efficacy of certificate acquisition and standard realization. Ultimately, this study offers a methodology to introduce and invigorate the internationally acknowledged FM standard to related domestic industries. It details the essentials to cultivate the growth of facility management and through reviewing prevalent standards and other certification for possible incorporations to herald FM introduction, present ways to facilitate FM standard and rationalization.
