Abstract
Cellular vehicle to everything (C-V2X) supports cooperative awareness service between vehicles to know the status of each other and some basic information. LTE-V2V Mode4 supports the vehicle to choose resources autonomously, so in this mechanism, the application of more efficient autonomous control algorithm can better improve the transmission and reception efficiency and improve the resource utilization. Most of the algorithms in this field are targeted at vehicle transmission power, vehicle message generation frequency or the modulation and coding mechanism selected by the vehicle. The purpose is to make the vehicle can change the parameters autonomously according to the current channel conditions to adapt to the current environment and ensure the quality of communication. In this paper, a variable modulation coding mechanism based on channel condition is studied. By judging the channel condition with the new resource, a vehicle will choose a suitable MCS for communication and performance comparison Finally, experiments show that the proposed method is superior to fixed MCS in LTE-V2V communication.
