- Abstract
- In this work, CoCr2O4 nanoparticles with size of similar to 12 nm are prepared by co-precipitation process. Further, various characteristics techniques are used to describe the phase purity, morphology and porous nature of CoCr2O4 nanomaterial. Thereafter, CoCr2O4 nanoparticles are used for supercapacitor and high specific capacitance of 769 F g(-1) is received at the current density of 1 A g(-1). Further, specific capacitance of CoCr2O4 nanoparticles is enhanced by adding up a small quantity of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and, enhanced specific capacitance of 1100 F g(-1) is received from MWCNT/CoCr2O4 at 1 A g(-1). Additionally, aqueous hybrid supercapacitor (HSC) is assembled by MWCNT/CoCr2O4 and activated carbon which exhibits the high energy density of 41.33 W h kg(-1) at the power density of 750.11 W kg(-1). Furthermore, four parallel connected white color light-emitting diodes (LEDs), small motor fan and kitchen timer are powered separately by series connected two MWCNT/CoCr2O4//AC devices.
