- Abstract
- Integrating personality traits, motivations, and media addiction in a model, the study attempted to investigate the impact of personality differences on different SNS gratifications and examine the relationship between those gratifications and compulsive Facebook use. The findings from this study suggest a need for proper education on the danger of compulsive SNS use at an early stage as SNS typically attracts those who seek the gratification of their social relationship needs mostly in the online environment-a type that we found to be more vulnerable to show compulsive behavior.
