- Abstract
- Sulfur doped ZnO nanorods were synthesized through a simple, low-cost, and low temperature hydro thermal route. The influence of sulfur doping on the material properties of ZnO were studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy. The density of defects states associated with ZnO was found to increase on sulfur doping through the photoluminescence measurements from the visible band emissions. The current-voltage characteristics on the fabricated PEDOT: PSS/SZO heterojunction diodes were found to exhibit excellent rectifying characteristics under dark and illumination conditions. The photoelectric measurements demonstrated that sulfur doping leads to significant improvements in the photo electronic performances of the corresponding hybrid hetero-structures.
