- Abstract
- 한국에서의 다문화 인구 비율이 점차 높아지는 현실을 인지하면서 이 연구는 한국인의 다문화에 대한 수용성을 과학적으로 측정하기 위해 지수를 개발하는 것을 주된 연구 목적으로 두었다. 지수의 개발을 통해 이 연구는 다문화수용성은 ‘외국문화와 외국이주민에 대한 개방’, ‘외국이주민에 대한 차별’, ‘외국이주민에 대한 거부 및 회피’, ‘외국이주민과의 상호교류 행동’, ‘외국이주민과 한국사회의 쌍방적 동화’, ‘외국이주민의 한국사회로의 일방적 동화’, 그리고 ‘외국이주민에 대한 고정관념’의 7개 하위요인으로 구성됨을 관찰하였다. 그리고 28개 측정문항 중 요인적재치가 높은 7개 측정문항을 중심으로 단일 차원의 다문화수용성 지수를 도출하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 이 연구는 앞으로 학술 및 실무적으로 이 연구가 어떠한 영향을 미칠 수 있을지 그 함의를 토론하였다.
