- Abstract
- This study investigates the changes in production efficiencies of Korean dairy farming during 2008~2014 as well as the effect of the farm size on the efficiency. The BCC-DEA method was used to evaluate the efficiency, while the Malmquist index was used to calculate the productivity changes in the period 2008~2014. As a results, it was found that dairy farms can increase production efficiency by saving production cost especially on feed and family labor. The size of the dairy farm also affects significantly the production efficiency.
