- Abstract
- The objective of this paper is to investigate the short and long term performances of Chinese IPO firms in several foreign exchanges. As Chinese firms have been expanding global wise in many business fields, needs for Chineses firms to be listed in the foreign exchanges are on the rise as well. Their short term performance has been found to be quite well exceeding market indexes. However, their long term performance has been found to be deteriorating. These findings are quite consistent with what other previous researches have reported. Now that more Chinese companies are preparing for overseas IPOs, the findings may shed a light on this field.
