- The Electronic Transactions on Numerical Analysis (ETNA) is an electronic journal for the publicationof significant new developments in numerical analysis and scientific computing. Papers of the highestquality that deal with the development and analysis of numerical methods, including rigorous studiesof the convergence of algorithms, their accuracy, stability, and complexity. Numerical methods for thesolution of continuous models as well as papers in numerical linear algebra are appropriate for ETNA,as are papers of similar quality that discuss implementation and performance of such algorithms. Paperson the approximation of functions and quadrature are appropriate only if they have a significant impacton scientific computing. Contributions that focus on applications are suitable provided they discuss novelcomputational methods. New algorithms for current or new computer architectures are appropriate providedthat they are numerically sound. However, the focus of the publication should be on the algorithm ratherthan on the architecture.
