Aime & Scopes
- Current Medical Research and Opinion is a MEDLINE-indexed, peer-reviewed, international journal for the rapid publication of original research on new and existing drugs and therapies, Phase II-IV studies, and post-marketing investigations. Equivalence, safety and efficacy/effectiveness studies are especially encouraged. Phase I, pharmacoeconomic, outcomes and quality of life studies may also be considered if there is clear clinical relevance. Please note CMRO does not consider pre-clinical animal studies. The aim of Current Medical Research and Opinion is to provide ethical, unbiased and rapid publication of quality content that is validated by rigorous peer review. CMRO ’s aim is to serve the information needs of the clinical medicine community, to help translate medical advances into patient care and be a leader in transparency/disclosure by facilitating a collaborative and honest approach to publication.
