Like our sister journal Cell Reports, we consider impactful short-form single-point stories called reports, in addition to longer articles. We also publish short reviews covering recent literature in emerging and active fields. As a highly visible open access journal well positioned to meet the requirements of physical scientists, we embrace innovation within the dynamic open science landscape and continually review our policies to reflect community consensus and advances in best practice.
