- World Allergy Organization Journal (WAOjournal) provides a global platform for knowledge exchange on allergy and clinical immunology. The Journal publishes original mechanistic, translational, and clinical research as well as reviews, guidelines, and position papers that contribute to the improvement of patient care. WAOjournal aims to highlight global perspectives on the most important aspects of allergy, asthma, and anaphylaxis and current diagnostic and therapeutic options. WAOjournal disseminates knowledge on increasing allergy prevalence within the scope of single countries, country comparisons, and real global issues and regulations, or threats to the allergy specialty. WAOjournal concentrates on current global problems including climate change and systematic changes in food habits and environmental pollution and their consequences for the allergy discipline. It is the official publication of the World Allergy Organization.
