학교-가정 연계 다문화교육 실행 방안 탐색: 다문화연극을 중심으로

초록

This exploratory study aims to propose a multicultural education program that links schools and families. Drawing on focus group interviews (FGIs) with teachers and parents, it examines the feasibility of such a program and possible strategies for its implementation. Based on the findings, the study proposes educational drama classes grounded in multicultural competence as a school-family collaborative approach to multicultural education, in which Korean parents and parents from migrant backgrounds participate together and work with teachers as educational partners to foster multicultural competence and reduce prejudice. While a number of previous studies have explored educational drama in the context of multicultural education, this study is significant in that it proposes an educational drama approach explicitly based on school-family collaboration. However, as an exploratory study conducted prior to program implementation, it is limited in that it does not empirically verify the educational effects of the proposed program.
