생성형 AI 기반 중학교 다문화 수업 교수·학습 방안 연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to propose specific teaching and learning strategies designed to encourage learners' active participation and foster multicultural sensitivity by integrating middle school multicultural education textbooks with generative AI. In particular, this study focuses on reconstructing educational directions based on establishing a proper perception of AI. This involves treating AI not merely as a utilitarian tool, but as a subject of "critical understanding" to reflect on technological biases and distortions. To this end, the study designed activities that theoretically examine biases in media and AI using textbooks and explore subtle forms of prejudice, such as "dust discrimination" (microaggressions), through cross-verification among various generative AI models. Furthermore, a step-by-step instructional plan was developed wherein learners critically reinterpret information during the process of creating alternative content using AI, followed by sharing outcomes and exchanging peer feedback via the "Book Creator" platform. This approach is significant as it supports the systematic framework of multicultural education through textbook-based instruction, while simultaneously exploring the potential to synergistically enhance both critical thinking and creativity by leveraging the inherent data biases of AI.
