노거수의 가치평가체계 개발 - 서울시 향나무 노거수를 대상으로 -

초록

This study aims to develop an assessment framework specifically for Juniperus chinensis heritage trees in Seoul, Korea. Fourteen assessment criteria were identified through literature review and expert surveys, and their relative importance was determined using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Subsequently, 15 Juniperus chinensis heritage trees in Seoul were evaluated using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, followed by a further ranking using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Additionally, the sub-criteria related to tangible characteristics demonstrated greater discriminatory capacity compared to those related to intangible characteristics in heritage tree assessments.While the proposed assessment tool provides a systematic approach for evaluating Juniperus chinensis, its applicability is currently limited to this species and a small sample size, necessitating further research with broader datasets.
