초록
Polyvinylpyrolidone (PVP) is a biocompatible, hygroscopic, and water-soluble polymer and has been used in various applications (e.g. coating agents) in the medical products, pharmaceuticals, and medical device industries. The performance evaluation times for PVP oral spray include viscosity, pH, and aseptic stability, and various methods such as surface analysis, particle analysis, thermal analysis, and emission tests are being studied to evaluate other physicochemical properties. This study was to confirm whether the film formation and maintenance of the oral spray depends on the amount of use in performing the intended use. As a result, when compared through visual evaluation, drying weight evaluation, and solubility evaluation, the film formation and retention power do not depend on the amount of use, and it is considered that a simple increase in capacity does not affect the intended use and performance, that is, the function of protecting the wound surface through film formation. When using the oral spray in the oral cavity, one dose is sufficient, and it seems to be the most appropriate use environment to induce rapid drying in an environment where food is not consumed.
