‘통합성’으로 연결된 ‘메타버스 윤리원칙’과 ‘윤리’

초록

Avatar is a prominent feature that distinguishes the metaverse from the existing technology environment. Agents who stay in reality operate in the metaverse by using avatars. The real self and the self expressed as an avatar exist in different areas, but are not completely separated. Accordingly, the "Metabus Ethics Principles for the Realization of a Digital Trust Society" announced by the Ministry of Science and ICT in 2022 puts forward the "Sincere Identity," that is, "integrity," as the main orientation value. In this paper, we would like to emphasize the value of integration while examining the characteristics of the metaverse. In addition, this can be emphasized through the fact that various technical ethics contain the characteristics of the technology but are based on the content that is mainly dealt with in the existing ethics. As a result, we would like to argue that metaverse ethics should not be treated like a "new ethics" completely separated from the context in which ethics in the real world are placed, and that it is still human ethics.
