『금강경석주』의 구조와 이해 고찰
초록
Shichengjin(石成金)’s Shizhu-Commentary on the Vajracchedika prajnaparamita Sutra is one among the numerous existing commentaries on the Vajracchedika prajnaparamita Sutra, yet it distinguishes itself in several respects. First and foremost, this Shizhu-Commentary on the Vajracchedika prajnaparamita Sutra serves as a guide for Buddhists in their devotional practice of memorizing and reciting the sutra text. As seen in its two prefaces, the nature and characteristics of this commentary are highlighted by the fact that it includes 65【Notes】, 41【Discussions】, 42【Evidence】, and 109【Lectures】. Furthermore, it demonstrates the most rational method for reciting and studying the sutra. This is because it has been transmitted and reprinted from Japan to Korea and continues to be passed down to this day. Furthermore, it highlights five or six points that distinguish this interpretation from existing traditional interpretations of the sutra’s content. These points cover a variety of passages, including the title of the sutra, Subhuti’s general inquiry, the nine categories of sentient beings, the principle of “living as taught” [如所敎住], the realization of the doctrine of no-self (通達無我法), and the five kinds of vision [五眼]. These characteristics presented in the Shizhu-Commentary on the Vajracchedika prajnaparamita Sutra appear to have reflected the practical needs of Buddhists at the time, serving as a guide for receiving, reciting, and understanding the sutra. This is because, due to such demand for the sutra, it was transmitted and reprinted as far as Japan and Korea, and continues to be passed down to this day.
