차별경험이 노인우울에 미치는 영향: 노인여가복지시설 이용경험의 조절효과를 중심으로

초록

This study aims to explore solutions to the problem of geriatric depression based on the concern of the elderly being victims of fraudulent crimes in an aging society. Using data from the Ministry of Health and Welfare's 「2020 Survey of the Elderly」, this study examined whether the impact of ageism experience on geriatric depression varies according to the experience of using elderly leisure welfare facilities. The results showed that the experience of using senior welfare center significantly moderated the relationship between ageism experience and geriatric depression. On the other hand, senior citizen center and school for the elderly did not have significant moderating effects on these relationships. Based on these results, it was suggested that efforts should be made to increase the number of senior welfare center and that budgets should be made for this purpose. In addition, in areas with a high proportion of elderly people, it was suggested that the law should be amended to require autonomous police to regularly visit elderly people's homes and refer elderly people who have had lots of ageism experience to senior welfare center.
