청소년의 디지털 성범죄 피해의 영향 요인 연구: 생활양식-일상활동이론(LRAT)을 중심으로

This study examines the factors influencing adolescents’ vulnerability to digital sexual crime victimization based on the Lifestyle–Routine Activities Theory (LRAT). Using survey data from 2,822 middle and high school students nationwide, the effects of exposure, lifestyle, lack of guardianship, and target suitability on victimization were analyzed through logistic regression. The results show that frequent use of anonymous accounts increases the likelihood of victimization, and one-on-one interactions with strangers online emerged as the strongest predictive factor. In addition, the absence of conversations or education about digital sexual crimes within the family was associated with higher victimization risk. In contrast, the exposure variable measured by open-chat participation frequency did not exhibit a significant effect. These findings indicate that adolescents’ online behavioral patterns, the nature of their interactions, and the presence of protective factors within the home are key determinants of vulnerability to digital sexual crimes. This study contributes to the field by applying LRAT to the digital crime context and providing empirical evidence on how online risk behaviors operate, offering meaningful insights for prevention education and policy development targeting adolescents.
