초록

Haean-Bongsu is a great Buddhist monk from Naeso Temple in Buan, Jeollabuk-do, and is a high priest who left a collection of Korean Buddhist poems, "Sissim Sibul" and "Coastal House". In terms of the climate of the Buddhist community at that time, most high monks wrote Chinese poems on anniversaries such as Sakyamuni's Birthday, but rarely elevated their faith and expressed Buddhist teachings through Korean poetry. Although there were several monk writers who gained fame as poets and literary writers in the 1960s, I think Haean was the only monk who wrote and published poetry in addition to Chinese poetry. Until now, academia has paid little attention to the coast with this meaning. However, it is not very difficult to grasp his life and thoughts because quotes and related data collections have been compiled by Naesosa and Mundo of Jeondeungsa Temple in Seoul. This paper summarized and supplemented the life of the coast according to the existing annals. In particular, the year was judged according to the description that he graduated from Baekyangsa Temple's Gwangseonggangsuk and studied at Peking University through the Buddhist Central Academy, while intensively considering whether it was true. As a result, it was possible to accurately grasp the actual status and completion status of Gwangseonggangsuk. In addition, although there is no certificate or diploma that can prove the history of studying in Central Academy and Beijing, the annual report could be supplemented by discovering the records of coastal activities contained in media reports. The legal context of the coast and the achievements of literary creation were not covered in this paper, but were left as future tasks.
