조선시대 酒宴의 인원과 물품에 나타난 정치·사회적 질서 - 奎章閣 소장 회화 자료를 중심으로 -

초록

Among the painting materials owned by the Kyujanggak Institute of Korean Studies, many depictions of drinking scenes are included. Most of these painting materials depict banquet scenes led by kings and bureaucrats, and the political and social order of drinking can be explored through the arrangement and use of personnel and items shown in the painting. This paper attempts to classify the components shown in the picture into participants, performers, and items, and to find out that these elements revealed the political hierarchy and performed a ritual function. It is possible to capture one aspect of the political and social order of the Joseon Dynasty through non-textual information on the seating arrangement of attendees, the preparation activities of performers, and the use of various items for drinking.
