학교전담경찰관의 역할 스트레스가 직무태도에 미치는 영향

This study aims to empirically examine the effects of role stress on job attitudes among School Police Officers. School Police Officers perform a wide range of duties, including school violence prevention education, student counseling, victim protection, guidance for offending students, incident response, and cooperation with schools and community agencies. Because they are positioned between the police organization and the educational field, they are likely to experience complex role demands. In this context, role stress, such as role conflict, role ambiguity, and role overload, may influence job attitudes, including job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. To achieve the research purpose, this study conducted a survey of 150 School Police Officers and analyzed the data using SPSS 27.0. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed. The findings show that role ambiguity was the most significant factor affecting job attitudes. Specifically, role ambiguity had negative effects on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, while it had a positive effect on turnover intention. Role overload had a negative effect on job satisfaction, but it did not significantly affect organizational commitment or turnover intention. Role conflict did not have a statistically significant effect on any of the job attitude variables. These results suggest that improving the job attitudes of School Police Officers requires more than simply reducing workload. It is necessary to clarify job responsibilities, authority, work procedures, and performance expectations. In particular, clear job manuals, systematic communication within the organization, specialized training, and supervision systems should be strengthened so that School Police Officers can perform their roles with greater clarity and stability.
