불교용어에 기반한 불교캐릭터 연구

초록

This study developed the source of Buddhist culture. It was designed as a character. The scope of the study focused on Buddhist terms commonly used in daily life. Next, in order to produce Buddhist terms into characters, the possibility of content of Buddhist terms was analyzed. Based on this, highly likely terms were selected and planned as Buddhist characters. The selected term is a Buddhist term with a unique story, and 15 Buddhist characters produced UCC animations. In this study, we would like to discuss the direction of Buddhist teaching and communication through content. Therefore, this study developed a Buddhist character that can find Buddhist terms in daily life and communicate through the meaning and symbols of the terms. This attempt of this study aims to establish an easily accessible Buddhist cultural environment by sharing Buddhist wisdom and life benefits to the general public. In the future, we look forward to the production and expansion of content that combines Buddhist materials and IT technology.
