키스트로크 로깅 프로그램의 개발 및 활용 - 인풋로그(Inputlog) 한국어 버전을 중심으로 -

초록

Observing the writing process helps identify essential characteristics of writing and provides a rationale for educational applications. With the advent of digital writing, keystroke logging, which records keyboard activity, has become a prominent method for studying the writing process. However, Inputlog, a leading keystroke logging program, was initially developed for alphabetic systems and cannot fully process Korean logging data. Although domestic programs have been created to collect raw keystroke logging data in Korean, Inputlog is distinguished by its automatic analysis of writing actions such as pauses and revisions, along with its range of additional analytical functions. It also seamlessly integrates with voice recognition and eye-tracking systems, making it the most widely used tool internationally, which enhances its versatility. This paper aims to advance the use of Inputlog in domestic writing research by addressing development issues specific to the Korean language and by presenting the features and application of the Korean beta version as part of a research project to develop the Korean version of Inputlog.
