수사구조이론(RST) 연구 동향 분석을 통한 한국어 교육 활용 가능성 탐색

초록

This study addresses the absence of research trend analyses on Rhetorical Structure Theory (RST) in the domestic academic field and seeks to establish criteria for such analyses. A critical review of 48 works including 12 theses and 36 journal articles were conducted, leading to the identification of six micro-level analytical criteria: text type, reconceptualization of RST , educational strategies and methods, evaluation of translation and interpreting outputs, hierarchization, and diagnostic tool development. Test t ype characteristics highlighted characteristics of text, meaning of colloquial language and literary language, similarities in text structure and systemic analysis, and subsequent extended research built upon this foundation. Findings highlight the necessity of RST-based research in Korean language education and explore its potential applications, concluding with a discussion of educational implications. Accordingly, the significance of this study lies in its analysis of RST research trends and implications across various fields, and in its consideration of RST's applicability to explicit instruction in Korean language education.
