한국 재벌 문제의 어제와 오늘: 김기원의 문제 제기를 중심으로

초록

This essay examines the chaebol problem raised by Kim Ki-Won, focusing on the keywords of accumulation and legitimacy. Building on his critique of chaebol governance structures and capital accumulation, this study extends his framework to evaluate subsequent policies under the Park Geun-hye and Moon Jae-in administrations. Second, building upon Kim's examination, it explains the chaebol’s hegemonic strategies aimed at enhancing legitimacy that gained momentum following democratization. Finally, this essay addresses the process by which digital platform corporations have evolved into new chaebols and the problems stemming from this process. Though beyond Kim's scope, he would have critically analyzed these new chaebols.
