교육의 현실과 교육학의 역할: 학문적 위기에 대한 문제 인식

초록

The Science of education is a practical discipline. Education, which collectively refers to the system of school education and the phenomenon of education, is a research practice that educational science should explore. This thesis attempts to answer the question of whether educational science has presented or actively responded to the problems or realities of education. As a science, education started from a humanistic foundation, but it has also been lost its identities through the transformation into a rapid social science. Therefore, it is pointed out that it has been transformed into a similar business administration in that it provides only prescriptions that can help solve problems in the field. Unfortunately, education has unfavorable conditions and limitations to counter the multiplicity and complexity of educational problems. Starting from the historic analysis of education and the critical perspectives, this thesis describes the negative symptoms revealed in the field of education, and proposes a solution to the problem through diagnosis and analysis of the causes. The critical approach to educational science is based on self-reflection from the inside of the academic community, so no scholar in the educational field is free from such criticism.
