초록
This study examined how maternal bilingual resource profiles and migration types shape multicultural adolescents' global career aspirations. LPA and DCAT were applied to 1,744 mother-child pairs from MAPS-2 wave 5. Four classes emerged: Bilingual-Integrated (11.7%), Heritage-Language Practice (11.9%), Korean-Dominant (18.6%), and Bilingual-Limited (57.7%). Bilingual-Limited predominated in Korean-foreign marriage families (65.6%), and Heritage-Language Practice in foreign families (36.0%). The Heritage-Language Practice class showed global career aspirations 3.4 times higher than the Korean-Dominant class, indicating that practical heritage-language transmission, not Korean proficiency, is the key mechanism. Re-entry immigrant adolescents showed the highest rate (13.04%), 2.8 times that of Korean-foreign marriage families (4.71%) (p<.001), suggesting that maternal bilingual resources and migration types operate complementarily. The study calls for HRD-based career guidance differentiated by migration type for multicultural adolescents as global human resources.
