빅데이터 분석을 통한 ‘스포츠과학’ 연구 동향 분석: 최근 10년(2015년-2025년)을 중심으로

This study analyzed domestic academic papers on ‘sports science’ published in Korean in the past 10 years using big data analysis in a non-quantitative manner, and through this, it aimed to comprehensively explore the main research topics and content composition of the topics mainly studied under the keyword ‘sports science’. The analysis method utilized the Korea Education and Research Information Service (RISS) to select 5,283 domestic academic papers including KCI-listed journals as analysis subjects, focusing on keywords such as ‘sports science’ and ‘exercise science’. The research results are as follows. First, the research topics centered on ‘sports science’ in the past 10 years were not limited to verifying the physiological efficacy of exercise, but actively expanded to include health indicator-centered research, university students and adolescents, and topics related to emotion and psychology. In addition, in terms of content composition, multidisciplinary convergence is being strengthened, including psychological, social, and educational aspects beyond the physiological approach, such as school physical education and elite physical education, recreational physical education and health welfare, exercise for women, and psychological and social health and rehabilitation. Finally, in terms of the direction of research, clusters of seven specialized areas are formed, and interest and support for these specialized areas seem necessary. Therefore, in order to develop ‘sports science’ in the future, it is necessary to reflect the three trends above, reorganize the interdisciplinary ‘sports science’ curriculum at universities, establish a policy-academia-field communication system to reflect the field, and finally, establish a development system such as cluster-specific specialized research support and researcher training.
