선불교 전통에 근거한 한국불교의 발전적 지향에 대한 고찰

A study on the developmental direction of Korean Buddhism based on the tradition of Zen Buddhism

초록

The Korean-zen began with importing Chinese-zen in the mid-8th century, but the Korean-zen showed a difference from the Chinese-zen. On the one hand, it is a tradition of Zen and Doctrine, and on the other hand, it is a fusional position. The development of this fusion-zen has reached Jogye-Order today, and it has become the overall appearance of Korean Buddhism as well as zen-thoughts. As a result, the identity of Zen was blurred on the one hand, and on the other hand, it was developed into a comprehensive Buddhist form that combines various beliefs, practices, culture and ideas. The positive aspect is complex, diverse and fusional as a whole Buddhism. However, the negative aspect is that it has lost some of its identity even though he is a zen. Specifically, the following is : First is enlightenment, so-called Buddha-disease, which vaguely pursues enlightenment. Second, they discriminated between Zen and Doctrine, and underestimated Doctrine, which is a Dharma-disease. Third, the result of emphasizing the merit of the exodus is a Monk-disease that ignores the life of the public. At this time, the current situation of Korean-zen or Korean Buddhism became a time when future alternatives are needed. Therefore, it is necessary to have a new strategy for the future as well as the faith of Buddhism itself. In this regard, it is necessary to overcome Buddha-disease with the mind of fusional and flexible bodhisattva, overcome Dharma-disease with fusion between Zen and Doctrine, and overcome Monk-disease with the spirit of leaving.
