초록

Current study uses 3-year(2016, 2017, 2018) dataset of Graduate Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS) to examine the effects of Seoul-located university transfer on employment outcomes. Seoul-located university transfer increased actual and expected employee wage; and also reduced the job satisfaction of employees. We also conducted additional analyses by considering pre-transfer university between in and out of Seoul. When pre-transfer university is out of Seoul, Seoul-located university transfer increased actual and expected employee wage, and reduced job satisfaction. However, when pre-transfer university is in Seoul, Seoul-located university transfer failed to have effects on employment outcomes. It is critical to examine the Seoul-located university transfer when investigating the effects of university transfer on employment outcomes.
