법연종의 종지와 그 선종사적 연원 고찰
초록
Bupyeonjong's main purpose in Korean Buddhism is a structure that takes the core meaning with Yeonbul, forms the main body with Yeonbup, and unfolds subtle functions with Yeonsa (然師). Yeonbul is the main character's duty and corresponds to the core meaning of nature, and the main character is a fundamental person who has established subjectivity and corresponds to the Buddha nature that he originally possesses. Yeonbup is a universal and subtle teaching in which the true nature of Dharma-dhatu is revealed. This corresponds to the principle that nature's subtle teachings are inherently pure and equal to all living beings. Yeonsa is a subtle and natural action of Buddha, and it acts without prejudice on all living beings with great compassion for all living beings. Therefore, Yeonbul is the main character's duty as a subjective attribute, Yeonbup is a subtle teaching of nature and is a universal law without any obstacles, and Yeonsa is a subtle and natural function of Buddha and is a person who does not fall into Dharma-dhatu. The triple link of Yeonbul, Yeonbup, and Yeonsa is a common relationship that intersects with each other, but at the same time, it is a principle that each acts individually. The three Yeons are as follows: Yeonbul is the meaning of the main character who is independently aware of the principles of nature. Yeonbup is a natural doctrine acquired through Yeonbul, and it is a teaching revealed without distortion and based on correct principles. Yeonsa is a group that practices the correct teachings together as the correct principles that each individual embodies. When comparing Three Yeons with the traditional Buddhist system, they are contrasted with the Buddha's treasures, Dharma treasures, and monks, respectively. The origin of the Three Yeons presented in Bupyeonjong is based on the ideology of the Patriarch-zen the history of Zen Buddhism. Yeonbul corresponds to Patriarch-zen’s ideology that ‘All living beings are inherently Buddha’, Yeonbup is a teaching that reveals Patriarch-zen’s ideology, and Yeonsa corresponds to an organization that practices Patriarch-zen’s ideology. Therefore, speaking of the core meaning of Bupyeonjong, it is not limited to Bupyeonjong but is a universal principle that extends even further to all religions of the universe, thus expanding the scope of so-called Buddhism.
