초록
This study, as a quantitative study, was intended to identify the effect of the supporting role experience on the psychological state of students majoring in acting. 264 questionnaires were collected from students majoring in acting at universities in the metropolitan area and analyzed through t-test. The research results are as follows. There were differences in stage depression, self-efficacy, self-esteem, and level of immersion in acting according to the leading roles and supporting roles. Students who participated in supporting roles had lower levels of self-efficacy, self-esteem, and immersion in acting than students who participated in leading roles, and had higher levels of stage fright. There was no statistically significant difference in the level of depression. In conclusion, it was found that the experience of participating in a performance as a supporting role had negative psychological results compared to the experience of participating in a leading role. Based on these results, the introduction of mindfulness as a process of experience was discussed to strengthen the educational meaning.
