기섹케(H. Giesecke)의 교육 개념에 나타난 반교육학(反敎育學)의 교육적 의미 재구성

초록

The anti-pedagogy, which was widely discussed in German pedagogy in the 1980s, has not been discussed actively in Korean pedagogy because of its’ self-destructive character with the negation of the educational concept and behavior. This study reviews Giesecke’s work and finds that the anti-pedagogist did not negate education, but suggested alternative concepts to solve existing educational problems. This stuty found that Giesecke did not criticize all educational behaviors, but the concept of Erziehung, school system, and educational sciences, which are based on infantilization with the belief that children are immature and need protection. This study focuses on the Bildung concept suggested by Giesecke as an alternative to this problem. In other words, he encouraged parents and teachers to focus on the children’s process of the Interaction with the World so that they have responsibility for their own behavior and future. From this perspective, parents and teachers should take on the role of helpers to have self-responsibility for children, and schools should provide an opportunity for this. This stuty attempts to reconstitute the educational meaning of anti-pedagogy and suggests an alternative form of schooling.
