북한이탈주민의 법의식이 범죄행동에 미치는 영향: 법의식의 세부 영역을 중심으로

This study aimed to verify whether the detailed elements of legal consciousness of North Korean Refugees have a significant effect on criminal behavior. The analysis was conducted using research data provided by the Korea Social Science Data Institute in the 2017 “Research on the Current Status of Legal Consciousness and Measures to Improve Law-abiding Consciousness of North Korean Refugees.” This analysis was conducted using SPSS 29.0 to perform descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and binomial logistic regression analysis. The analysis results showed that among the detailed elements of legal consciousness, in particular, the greater the familiarity with the law at the 95% level, the lower the likelihood of committing a crime by approximately 36.4%. The policy recommendations based on the analysis results are as follows. First, improvement of the contents of the legal education program, and second, re-establishment and supplementation of the direction of legal Consciousness education. Based on the content of the study, the significance of this study lies in the fact that it targets North Korean Refugees and analyzes whether each detailed area of legal consciousness has a significant effect on criminal behavior.
