로컬의 주체성으로 재편되는 글로벌 문화 지형: <케이팝 데몬 헌터스>의 로벌라이제이션 메커니즘 분석

초록

This study interrogates the mechanism through which local cultural elements coalesce with global landscapes and proliferate, focusing on the animation K-Pop Demon Hunters through the lens of lobalization. First, on a theoretical level, the study establishes an analytical framework by comparing and contrasting the distinctive characteristics of lobalization with existing discourses on glocalization. Subsequently, it categorizes the Korean local elements implemented within the work from multifaceted perspectives and analyzes, based on empirical data, the specific modes in which these elements integrate with universal global narratives and media formats to engender new aesthetic values. Finally, by identifying the drivers that allowed this cultural fusion to exert a powerful appeal to global audiences and catalyze proactive cultural practices, this research presents a new cultural topography in which local agency reconfigures global standards.
