일제강점기 『봉선본말사지(奉先本末寺誌)』찬술의 성격과 의미
초록
Bongseonbonmalsaji(奉先本末寺誌) introduces the history and culture of the Japanese Colonial Period and Bongseon Temple and its affiliated temples Considering the suppression and expropriation of Buddhism during the Joseon Dynasty, this was significant. Bongseonbonmalsaji was written in the midst of the introduction of modern university texts and the Buddhist community's efforts to establish the identity of Korean Buddhism. Bongseonbonmalsaji contains the history, people, treasures, and property of the Bongseon Temple and its affiliated temples, as well as the current status of the Japanese Colonial Period. It is a record that is even more meaningful in that it was written by Ahn Jin-ho(安震湖) through his own exploration and research. Bongseonbonmalsaji recorded not only fragmentary records of the past, but also trends in temple property that had been stolen by expropriation. Moreover, through the Bongseonbonmalsaji, efforts were made to restore the property and forests plundered by the royal family and the ruling class. For this reason, Bongseonbonmalsaji is a valuable record in that it contains the current state and tasks of Japanese Colonial Period Buddhist world.
