비공식 낙인, 비행친구교제와 사이버 일탈의 관계에 관한 연구 -애착의 조절된 매개효과를 중심으로-

초록

With the rapid advancement of information and communication technology and the widespread use of new media, juvenile cyber delinquency has been on the rise. Moreover, adolescents experience cyber violence at a rate five times higher than adults, underscoring its severity as a pressing social issue. This study empirically examines the process leading to cyber delinquency among adolescents by applying labeling theory and social bond theory. Using data collected in 2018 by the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice from juvenile detention center inmates, we conducted a moderated mediation analysis using the SPSS Process Macro. The results indicate that informal labeling has a significant impact on juvenile cyber delinquency, with involvement in deviant group serving as a mediating factor. Furthermore, attachment functions as a moderating variable, influencing the strength of this mediation effect. Based on these findings, we discuss policy to reduce cyber delinquency.
