사회구조, 사회학습과 학업 중단 청소년 지위비행의 관계: Akers의 사회구조-사회학습 모델을 중심으로

School dropout is an event that has a significant impact on the lives of adolescents. In particular, adolescents who stop studying experience negatively in terms of individuals, families, and society, and some move toward delinquent behaviors. However, despite this, the majority of researches about juvenile delinquency are conducted mainly on ordinary adolescents, and research considering the complex characteristics of adolescents who have stopped studying is also insufficient. Meanwhile, Akers' social structure-social learning model is a model that assumes that social structural variables are indirect causes that affect crime and are mediated only through social learning variables to exert influence. This model is an integrated explanation method that encompasses both micro and macro aspects of individual behavior. This study attempted to examine the delinquency of adolescents who stopped studying based on the social structure-social learning model. Specifically, it aimed to investigate the factors affecting the their delinquency by integrating social structural factors and social learning factors. To this end, the analysis was conducted using data from School Dropout Youth Panel data conducted from National Youth Policy Institute, and the main results are as follows. First, as a result of the path analysis, the path from family disorganization to status delinquency, community bond to status delinquency, friends' antisocial tendency to status delinquency, and community disorder to friends' antisocial tendency was statistically significant. Second, the mediating effect was found to be significant only in community disorder in the relationship between social structural variables and status delinquency of adolescents who stopped studying. Other family disorganization and community bond had only a direct effect on status delinquency, and the level of family economy had no effect. This study is meaningful in that it attempted to grasp the factors affecting the delinquency of adolescents who stopped studying from an integrated perspective based on the social structure-social learning model.
