숏폼 뉴스 제작 동기, 뉴스로서의 가치, 문제점 인식에 관한 연구: 제작자 관점을 중심으로

초록

This study investigates the motivations, distinctive characteristics, and challenges of short-form news production through in-depth interviews with practitioners in news organizations. Findings indicate that short-form content is strategically utilized to engage younger audiences, foster brand innovation, and explore new revenue streams. Moreover, participants recognized short-form news as more cost- and resource-efficient than conventional formats and emphasized the importance of optimizing content according to the user experience (UX) specific to each platform. However, they point out concerns regarding algorithmic dependency, content softening, and the potential amplification of misinformation and thematic polarization.
