Consolidation of transition metal sulfide with r-GO is materialized to improve the charge-storing capacity of the electrochemical supercapacitors due to the large surface area, superior electric conductivity, and ample active sites. Herein, SnS/r-GO nanocomposite was prepared using solvothermal procedure. The electrochemical properties of anode material were quantified for SnS/r-GO nanocomposite electrode with a remarkable capacitance of 195.73 Fg−1 for an applied current of 1 Ag−1 and capacitance retention of 84.96 % after 3000 cycles. For the first time, SnS/r-GO//AC asymmetric device was fabricated for delivering decent energy and power density of 22.45 Wh/kg and 1494.5 W/kg accompanying with greater stability of 82.39 % after 3000 cycles. These results proposed that SnS/r-GO //AC has been paying attention is as favorable energy storage device for future electronic applications. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.
