해양치유 관광 활성화 및 홍보방안 연구 - 완도사례를 중심으로 -

초록

This study mainly examines the main factors for success of sea therapy tourism and Wando Marine Healing Center. In addition, the definitions and marine healing image were analyzed and the governmental aids were mentioned for the successful launch of marine healing therapy tourism. It is true that the concepts and definitions are not clearly suggested in the previous studies; thus, this study seeks to explore. For these purposes, five experts on the marine healing therapy tourism were recruited for the interview purpose. The result showed that the German case of marine healing therapy zones and health insurance application could be adopted for the successful start of the marine healing therapy tourism. In addition the Japan case also should be applied. For the variety of the marine healing therapy tourism, the farm-stay therapy, marine sports activities, and marine eatery for health purpose. The interviews also agreed that governmental incentives for tourists are needed and the sea therapy tourism will be settled quickly if the national health care insurance is covered for the tourist seeking healing in the marine areas. In addition, with the help of private companies, the work and vacation together can be accomplished with a long term.
