포스트휴머니즘 관점에서 본 SF 소설 제재 수록 양상 고찰 －2022 개정 고등학교 『문학』 교과서를 중심으로－

초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the inclusion patterns of SF novels and related learning activities in the 2022 revised high school literature textbooks, aiming to explore the educational significance and future directions of SF novel education as a posthumanism genre. Methods: In order to accomplish this research purpose, the following research questions are constructed: (1) How are SF novels selected and featured in the 2022 revised literature textbooks? (2) What are the patterns of learning objectives, achievement standards, and types of learning activities related to SF novels? Data sources were five textbooks including SF novels, and each was systematically examined for genre characteristics, posthumanism perspectives, and connections to key literary educational thinking activities. Results: The findings of data analysis showed that 1) SF novels were primarily utilized to achieve the affective and value domains, 2) learning activities often lacked deep exploration of SF’s intrinsic features or the relationship between science, technology, and ethics, and 3) some activities were not closely connected to technological contexts. Conclusion: Instructional implications for the classroom and suggestions for further study include diversifying the selection of SF texts, strengthening genre-specific exploration, and designing activities that foster ethical understanding and cooperation in the context of future society.
