비즈니스 한국어 교재 개발 연구-‘튀르키예 학습자를 위한 비즈니스 한국어 1, 2’를 중심으로-

초록

This study aims to present how to develop the textbooks for businessKorean language. Focusing on 'Business Korean for Türkiye Learners 1and 2' published in February 2023 and February 2024, the developmentbackground and process of writing & publishing, the contents andcharacteristics of the teaching materials are presented. Due to the increase in the number of Korean language learners foracademic purposes and the increase in the number of Korean languagemajors, the demand to choose a job closely related to Korea and theKorean language after graduation is increasing. Accordingly, since it isnecessary to learn content that can be used immediately in the workplace,a class called ‘Business Korean’ was taught in most Korean majorcurricula. However, unlike general learners, it is not easy to find businessKorean textbooks that reflect actual field situations at an appropriatelevel of Korean language proficiency for Korean language majors. Accordingly, Erciyes University also began developing business Koreantextbooks based on data accumulated through business Korean classes. To develop the textbook, the overall structure of the textbook wasestablished based on analysis of learner needs, existing teachingmaterials and prior research, and analysis of existing teaching materials. The writing process was conducted through conferences and datasharing via Google Drive. Two books are completed at the intermediateand advanced levels, also attempted to reflect the diversity and reality ofthe workplace by reflecting surveys of current students and graduates. ‘Business Korean 1’ was already being used as a main textbookstarting in 2023, and ‘Business Korean 2’ is also used in 2024. Thisstudy is meaningful in that the textbook was developed by reflecting theopinions of learners, instructors, and graduates employed in the field. However, the opinions of personnel in charge of related companies shouldbe reflected in the future, also should be revised and supplemented byreflecting feedback from actual classes.
